This Weeks Feature:
Nathan & Candice Dayton. Our Grandchildren
Nathan and Candice were married a few years back (I can't remember the exact dates) and are living in Bend, Oregon. They are the proud parents of two wonderful, super smart little boys, Elijah - 3yrs and Jacob 4 months. They are both very focused and responsible individuals with entrepreneurial qualities.
Nathan is a Banker and Candice a stay at home mom. At a young age they have already learned some valuable lessons in investments and finance. Candice recently launched out into a home based marketing business, where she will be a Sr Director in no time. Before the age of 21 they owned two homes - one new and one older. They were not afraid to take on the task of completely renovating their older home, doing most of the work themselves. They split the older home with a large lot into a separate tax lot for an additional investment property. They have truly been a joy to have as part of our family and this week our hats are off to them. We love you!
We are semi-retired and looking forward to the latter years as a chance to travel, relax and enjoy our time together. We are beginning to wonder when that begins. Life is always full of things to do and never enough time. We have truly enjoyed the past few years and thank God every day for His many blessings He has given to us. We have a wonderful supportive family filled with music and laughter. We have six children, their spouses, twelve grand-children and three great grand-children and we are very blessed to have all of them living here in Bend, Oregon except for our grand-daughter Ashlee and her family, who now live in Anaheim, CA We do however, expect her to some day return to Bend.
Ron loves to fish and work in the yard and putters around in his garage whenever he can. Pat loves music and gardening, but mainly enjoys and shares these talents through the lives of her children and grand-children now. She still works part-time as a CFO for her son's development company and writes and directs an occassional Christmas play. We both love and enjoy our grand-children and great grand-children and spend as much time as we can with them. We love Jesus and have a passion for Him to be made known. He is truly the only answer to our troubled world. We volunteer when we can at Eagle Mountain Fellowship which is the church we attend, which also is pastored by our son and his wife, Robert and Rebecca Haaby. We have a very full life and enjoy laughing and doing creative things.
This summer has been very full with remodeling our home. It has been in disarray most of the summer and I will be glad when it is all finished so we can relax and enjoy this beautiful country God has given to us.
We have been married for 37 years now and I must say, "it gets sweeter as the years go by." We are in love and content with each other more then we have ever been. We have had our share of big ups and downs, but God is very good to us and has brought us a long way baby. There's not a whole lot we haven't been through, but we learned valuable lessons in each circumstance and treasure our family and friends. We have the best family ever and we are so proud of each and everyone of them. Their giftings are beyond measure.
We are looking forward to the good years ahead and hope to share that with some of you.

Thanks for sending me info. I do more searching now then ever. More time maybe. So I like to see... read more
